The summary spreadsheet below provides an overview of the data in the Atlas. Studies can be selected using the filters below. Further refinements can be made using the filter options in the spreadsheet.
The summary spreadsheet provides an overview of the prevalence data in the database that meet the selected criteria. The prevalence estimates for a study in the summary spreadsheet may be slightly different from the values reported. We recalculated prevalence based on the number of individuals who tested positive and the number with a valid test result or if not available the number tested. In the summary spreadsheet we used the calculated value over the reported value when there was a discrepancy between the two and there was no apparent rationale for the discrepancy (e.g., a statistical adjustment).
The data in the summary spreadsheet can be downloaded as an excel file. For additional information about the data points please download the full data set which can be found in the Downloads section. The information in the full data set provides additional details that are important for interpreting the prevalence data. Links to the data dictionary and data forms are also available in the Downloads section.
Not all studies include data on age range, sample collection window (start year and end year) or percentage symptomatic. These cells are blank when no information is available.
